PAC HD Liquid Foundation Review, Swatches: Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing great. So today I will be reviewing a PAC cosmetics product which is their HD liquid foundation in shade number 3. In Detail PAC HD Liquid Foundation Review, Swatches and My Experience
PAC HD Liquid foundation comes in a round cardboard box outer packaging. when you remove the top of the packaging you see a transparent glass bottle of foundation. I am really impressed with such unique packaging by PAC cosmetics. The bottle although reminds me a lot of MAC studio fix foundation packaging. The best thing about this foundation is that it comes with its own pump hence you don't need to invest in a separate pump.
But unfortunately PAC store sold me a defective piece and the pump was not dispensing the product. So I won't be able to tell you if the pump dispenses the right amount of product or not. (even after calling them and asking them to exchange the pump the manager in the store told me that I have to come all the way to Andheri just to exchange pump. They can't send anyone although the mistake was from their side. Don't you think it's rude?)
Now coming on to the shades they have a wide range of shades available. I am sure one can find a match easily in the brand. I matched myself as 3 although the shade is bit light for my skin tone. But it still works. The worst thing about the brand is that the people working in PAC store seem to have absolutely no product knowledge. The person was unable to tell me the right match for my skin tone when I asked him for the help. I got a reply stating that 'you see whatever matches you'.
Now coming on to the review, I matched myself as 3 which is lighter than my skin tone. I do go for foundations that are shade lighter then my skin tone as they tend to oxidise on my skin after sometime. But unfortunately this shade is two shades lighter than my complexion. However I can still make the use out of it. Therefore, I am not really upset with the shade that I choose. Shade 3 has a yellow undertone to it hence it matches my NC 42 skin perfectly.
As soon as I apply the foundation, it brightens up my complexion. This foundation is good for beauties with normal to combination skin. I don't think this product will work for beauties with very dry and oily skin. The texture of the product is thick. Also, when I apply it, it looks very caky on my face. It really looks very heavy no matter what I apply beneath. I have tried this with moisturiser, primer fixing spray. Tried with brushes and beauty blenders, still this foundation looks caky on my face after application. This foundation has medium to build-able coverage but not full coverage. Hence it will not hide any marks or blemishes whatsoever. Hence make sure you apply a separate concealer wherever you need.
The texture of this is very thick so try to take a very little amount of it and then build up according to your needs. The staying power of PAC foundation is low on my combination skin. It stays for 3 to 4 hours. After that it starts slipping from my skin. To make the foundation last a bit longer, I dab compact on top of it. This helps to extend the wear time of the product for further 1-2 hours.

Do I Recommend PAC HD Liquid Foundation?
No not really, I don't like this product. If you wish to try it out, I would suggest you to buy when there is some sort of discount because the product is priced slightly on a expensive side. Also, there are better options available in the market at such price.

- Moisturise and prime your skin properly before applying this product on your face
- Use a concealer on the areas where you need before applying this product on your skin. Because this is a medium coverage foundation, it won't hide your major marks and blemishes.
- Use a beauty blender for natural look and a kabuki brush for full coverage look.
- Set your makeup with a fixing spray just to make sure your make up looks natural and stays in place.
- Use a compact to help your makeup stay longer and keep your skin matte.
- Lastly I would advise you to take a sample before you buy a full size product as this product may not work for all skin types.

How To find Your Shade

The shade I like the best for my skin is 30 Light Neutral as I find that neutral shades work best for me – nothing too pink, nothing too yellow.
In this photo, I have 30 Light Neutral mixed with Burberry's Fresh Glow Nude Radiance No 1* which is the most beautiful glowy hydrating primer. It gives it extra radiance.
I love how this foundation really perfects my skin – it evens out tone, blurs the appearance of pores and give a soft velvety glow. It lasts really well on my skin without breaking up and I find that it doesn't need powdering. No powder is always a bonus for me!
